Amanda Holden’s earrings stole the show on Monday night when she wore Hultquist silver crystal hoops on ITV1 for Britain’s Got Talent. There was quite a flurry on Twitter with people asking where they could buy them – look no further than Stripes! We all really want a pair now!

Floral denim has landed at Stripes and I will confess, I think we are all rather giddy! Whilst each member of the team each has their own unique style and denim inclinations, we are all fighting over the three brand new prints that have arrived in store this week. Welcoming back Citizens of Humanity with open arms thanks to the fantastic fit and vintage-rose print of the Mandy jeans. The range of colours mean that they make the perfect match for plenty of our neutral and coloured tops and tees. Get yours here before they are all gone!
Best-selling style, the classic second skin The Skinny from 7 for all Mankind has been re-energised for the Summer in two pretty floral prints. Whilst both prints combine some of this season’s hottest colours – bright pink and stunning turquoise making them easy to wear and fun to style, we are struggling to decide which we would rather! Here are some complementing items and fun ways to wear them which we discovered in our styling and trying on session earlier on in the week.

We are thrilled to have helped out Joy, a new customer with our new Stripes Stylist service at the weekend. With the help of Shelly and Emma, Joy tried a number of new looks and was inspired by our lovely Summer collections. We helped Joy to put together a fantastic new capsule wardrobe that she can wear all Summer long.

To launch our high summer collection and to celebrate the arrival of brand new American Vintage, we are hosting a customer evening next week with a holiday theme and everything you need to get you feeling ready for the sunshine!
American Vintage expert and brand rep John will be with us talking you through their brand, their current collection (be warned it is amazing!) and how to wear this summer’s key looks. The Umberto Giannini style bar will be in full swing and will be the place to go if you want some hair inspiration or ideas for a new look. The glamourous ladies from YSL and Clarins will be showcasing new season beauty trends and revealing new products and make up demos. Our bright and beautiful Essie colours and mini manicures will be on offer too.
The evening will be the perfect opportunity to try something new, have fun with a different look or simply update your signature style with an injection of summer – the Stripes Stylist’s team will be on hand to advise and help you pack a capsule holiday collection or just find that special something. We knew our models would look great on the runway of our Fashion Show last week and we adore our current collection so styling each look was a really fun part of our show preparation. Needless to say, they did not disappoint – here’s a selection of the best outfits on the runway. I hope we are able to inspire some of your Spring wardrobe choices.

It comes as no surprise that Hollywood A-listers are making the same denim choices as us when the jeans in question are so amazing! Here’s Jessica Alba rocking AG Jeans Neon Blue Stilt jeans whilst out and about in L.A. We love how she’s dressed down her denim with grey flats and a statement printed scarf – a look that we’ll be trying out for ourselves soon! Get your hands on a pair of the slim cigarette ‘Stilt’ jeans (a Stripes best-seller none the less) here and work this season’s coloured denim trend too.

Last weeks in store Secret Garden themed fashion shows launched Spring with a particularly stylish and colourful bang! It was great to see so many of our customers excited about our current collections and so keen to try the trends we have on offer this season. As always, our models did a stirling job, wearing our styled outfits with confidence and a heavy dose of effortless chic – I think by the end of the show I convinced myself that my wardrobe simply needed each and every look that went down the catwalk! Russell and Bromley footwear and accessories really finished off each outfit too – this season they seem to have made a collection which fits perfectly with our own (look out for the ultimate in colour-block wedges) We all had a great time and hope that everyone who came along did too – for those of you who were unable to join us here is a sneak peek into the latest stylish goings-on at Stripes!

You are invited to our secret garden themed fashion show and styling event to celebrate the start of Spring. Our Spring deliveries have never looked better so we would love you to come along for a drink and an evening of fun, fashion and style.
As you know, we are fresh from our trips to Copenhagen Fashion Week and London Fashion Week and have lots of styling tips we’d like to pass on. We will be showcasing our key looks for the season, including our amazing range of denim, with the opportunity to shop afterwards.
