First of all, we want to say a big thank-you to our wonderful customers who came along to our Denim Event last Thursday night. We all had a great evening and raised a huge £400 for Leukaemia CARE! It’s so lovely to be able to share our new collection looks with you all, I hope you’re excited as we are – we feel our new denim brands in particular are a great addition to our range. Thanks to Mandy and Lauren from Leukaemia CARE who did a fantastic job with the raffle and the fab goodie bags!

On the night our models showcased a variety of different looks each featuring different denim styles; bootcut, skinny and straight jeans complimented a range of key looks for the season. Russell and Bromley footwear and accessories completed each look perfectly and by the end of the night I think we all felt inspired for the season ahead – albeit with a lengthy wishlist! Whilst the team from Umberto Gianni were on hand with hair styling tips and demonstrations, the rest of us were busy indulging on beautiful fashion inspired shortbread courtesy of Angela Veronica Cakes.

As the weather is changing and September has arrived, the time has come to update those wardrobes and start looking ahead to the new season. The end of the month sees our full collection fashion show – watch this space for details!

Ever struggled to find the perfect pair of jeans? Well fear not, here at Stripes we want to make your quest for desirable denim simple and stress free. On Thursday 25th August (next Thursday) we will be hosting an exclusive evening event in aid of Leukaemia CARE to raise money and awareness for this worthwhile cause, whilst also showcasing our brand new Autumn collection.

Our resident fashion experts will talk you through each key look of the season during the catwalk show, and you will have the opportunity to try on and buy anything you like later on in the evening. With brands like 7 For All Mankind and JBrand, aswell as our new Dutch brand Denham and celeb favourite AG Jeans, we aim to bring you a great evening of fashion in a relaxed and friendly environment. As always our knowledgable and well trained team will be on hand to assist and inspire.

Not only that, footwear will be provided by the wonderful Russell and Bromley giving you a sneak peek of their latest designs. There will also be a raffle with some truly amazing prizes such as a Russell and Bromley handbag and Stripes gift vouchers.

Tickets are £10 and are available at Stripes and there will be bubbly, goodie bags, and some exclusives from the new Stripes Collection on show. The evening starts at 7.30pm. So what are you waiting for?!

It’s a busy day today here at Stripes! The Tea Party is off to a great start, with delicious cakes baked by Angela Veronica Cakes (I can personally recommend the cranberry and white chocolate), beautiful china provided by Royal Tea and some super raffle prizes – we are having a lovely time!

Let’s not forget why we’re raising money though, Macmillan Cancer Support is an incredible charity and their work does genuinely improve the lives of those affected by cancer. What’s more, they rely on voluntary donations for 99% of their income. So far today our lovely customers have been very generous and we hope to continue fundraising throughout the weekend, if you’re unable to come into store but are still keen to donate, here’s a link to the Macmillan donations page. We love getting involved with local charities, so when Mandie Fitzgerald from Leukaemia CARE asked us to host the Moda Bella fashion show on 31st March we were pleased to get involved.

The evening was a huge success raising over £600 for Leukaemia CARE a national charity based in Worcester.  Leukaemia CARE exists to provide vital care and support to all those whose lives have been affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma and the allied blood disorders.

The wives and girlfriends of the Worcester Warriors Rugby team were fantastic models and the evening involved a number of Worcester independent businesses including Barbarella, You, Umberto Giannini and Onvu image consultant, Rosanagh Wilson .

Guests were treated to two informal fashion shows from Stripes with styling advice from Claire (Stripes co-owner) and Rosanagh a stylist and image consultant.  There was also a beauty and hair demonstration from You and Umberto Giannini, and a raffle with some fantastic prizes from the businesses involved.

Thank you to the Stripes team for all their hard work and to Mandie for organising such a fun event for a worthy cause.
